Title - The Starting Point
Every play needs a title. It has to be something that gives people an indication of what your play is about. Make sure to keep it short and snappy. Anything over 8 words is overkill. For example "Amy's morning routine where she gets ready to go to school and plays with her friends and has lunch" it much too long. We now know what is going to happen, but at the same time we get a sense of boredom. Some of the most famous plays in the world have a one word title, for example William Shakespeare's "Macbeth".
Now it's our turn. You should already have decided on a storyline or which part of your day you're going to focus on, so you now need to come up with a snappy title.
